  • 1 spindle mixer Alternatively a cocktail shaker or blender can be used

Ingredients
  

  • 40 ml Red Vermouth
  • 20 ml Fernet Branca
  • 25 ml Lemon juice Fresh
  • 15 ml Semi rich simple syrup 1.5 parts sugar to 1 part water
  • 10 ml egg white
  • crushed ice
  • Fresh Mint For ganish

Instructions
 

  • Add red vermouth, Fernet Branca, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white into a spindle mixer (or shake vigorously if unavailable).
  • Blend with crushed ice until smooth and slightly frothy.
  • Pour into a chilled highball glass over ice.
  • Garnish with a mint sprig.

Notes

Use a cocktail shaker if you don’t have a spindle mixer. For a vegan version, substitute egg whites for aquafaba or other vegan foamer.
